Skimmer pool is the most common private pool. Such a pool absorbs water through special openings in the wall of pool basin, the so-called skimmers. Skimmers are commonly used in finished monolithic pools, pools with lining (foil) pool, rarely in the case of tiles/mosaic. This pool construction is definitely cheaper than the overflow shaft type of pool (difference of about 30%) and usually it is very popular in the case of private pools, which are not heavily loaded by users.
