Waste water disinfection

Wastewater treatment allows not only to improve its parameters, but also to reduce its impact on the environment. However, for this to become possible, it is necessary to use modern techniques and tools. Our company guarantees access to systems that will make your waste water unsafe.

Disinfection can be carried out in several different methods, using mechanisms and processes adapted to individual customer needs. Our company provides delivery and installation of wastewater treatment plants, using ozone, chlorine, chlorine dioxide and hypochlorite.

Ozone wastewater disinfection (wastewater ozone treatment)

Ozone is one of the strongest oxidizing agents, and therefore it is perfect for the disinfection of wastewater. By choosing the right dosage of ozone treatment (from 5 to 20 mg/m3), it is possible to treat both municipal and industrial waste water. The ozone treatment of municipal wastewater results in removal of micropollutants, reduction of COD, surfactants and sludge.

The use of ozone in the disinfection of industrial wastewater allows for the reduction of phenols, cyanides and sulfides. In both cases the whole process is carried out using modern equipment and techniques. Many years of experience allows us to choose the best solution, adapted to the client’s needs and to the specificity of wastewater treated. We also offer professional consulting and assistance (e.g. in choosing the right dose of ozone).

Chlorine wastewater disinfection (wastewater chlorination)

Disinfection of wastewater with chlorine is one of the cheapest methods of chemical wastewater disinfection. Chlorine is usually sealed in special cylinders or tanks, thanks to which it can be easily transported. Its use allows to remove micropollutants, as well as color and smell of wastewater.

When dosing with chlorine, it is extremely important to maintain fire safety. It is also important to keep in mind the corrosiveness of mentioned cylinders and tanks. Our specialists provide the necessary equipment for proper dosing and storage of chlorine for wastewater disinfection.

Chlorine dioxide wastewater disinfection

Due to its higher efficiency against Giardia cysts and Cryptosporidium, the treatment of wastewater also makes extensive use of chlorine dioxide, a gas dissolved in water to a concentration of approximately 2%.

The excellent biocidal properties of chlorine dioxide translate into an effective treatment process in a wide pH range of 4 to 9. This method is also recommended for its effective odor neutralization, color removal, and oxidation of iron, manganese, cyanides, and sulfides.

However, this is not all. It is worth noting that chlorine dioxide maintains its activity for a very long time, thus keeping a surplus of it for later use is not an obstacle. All this makes that chlorine dioxide is described as one of the most effective components used in the process of chemical wastewater disinfection.

We offer the selection, as well as the installation of treatment facilities at a location selected by the client. Our specialists can also advise on the best solutions adapted to customer needs and requirements.

Sodium hypochlorite wastewater disinfection

This method is valued primarily due to the simple operation of prepared installation, lack of problems with factor decomposition and formation of by-products, as well as storage. In addition, of course, there is the high efficiency of removing dangerous microorganisms, contaminants and odors.

The production of sodium hypochlorite takes place at the dosing point. This makes you independent of suppliers. Our specialists will prepare the entire installation, which includes a brine tank and a finished product tank.
