Dosing pump control

The dosing pumps are operated by

1) manual control – dosing is carried out by rotating a knob. Dosing is continuous and such a system can be used in various closed systems where the flow is known.

2) impulse control – the pump doses proportionally to the flow. The signal to the pump is provided by an external device (e.g. water meter and impulse, flow meter) and on this basis the appropriate chemical is applied. This solution is one of the most popular due to the fact that it eliminates inaccuracies and the amount of dosed chemical depends on the flow.

3) analog control – the pump doses proportionally depending on the signal in mA.
