Lighting matters

Lighting matters!

If you want your pool to be aesthetically pleasing and make the right impression, do not forget about the proper lighting of “mini water surface” – regardless of whether you intend to build a pool indoors or outdoors. It should always be illuminated – the water surface alone and the light (daylight or artificial) emitted from “above,” is not enough. It will not be able to expose the visual qualities of your pool.

What kind of lighting do we recommend? Much depends, among others, on financial capabilities, on the other hand it is worth remembering that saving does not always mean the same thing – for example, installing cheaper halogen lighting, might seem that we reduce costs, because this system is cheaper (in the installation phase) than the most popular today and increasingly used LED lighting.

After just a few months of using LED lamps, you will notice that the bills for operating this system are much lower – while maintaining all the aesthetic qualities of this type of lighting.

Professional installation of LED lighting (based on an analysis of the characteristics of pool, which should be entrusted to specialists) significantly increases the ergonomics of our pool. The system does not require any maintenance.

LEDs do not heat up quickly or excessively. To work at “full speed,” they need much less current than traditional and halogen lamps.

They are long lasting and practically failure-free. However, it should be remembered that (like other lighting systems) to work optimally, they need a constant voltage current – so it is worth having a good quality transformer, which will provide a supply of “regular” current, without any spikes and fluctuations that are definitely not advisable with any type of pool lighting.

Financial considerations are usually of great importance, but if you are planning such an investment as a pool for private use, the costs sometimes come down to the background – just take a look at the LEDs effects – they are incomparably spectacular, if we compare them with the effectiveness (and efficiency) of the operation of older generation of pool lighting systems.

To achieve such a perfect visual effect, you must also bear in mind the need to install the appropriate number of lamps (in an appropriate relation to the size of your pool).

It is worth in this matter to seek advice of specialists, who will select not only the appropriate number of lamps, but also propose an optimal distribution of LEDs (this is dependent primarily on the pool size). For this purpose, it is also necessary to be guided by such parameters as the curve of light emitted by the lamps.

Currently we can offer different generations of LED lighting. Further improvements in LED technology are being introduced. There are newer solutions on the market that focus on optimizing the efficiency of pool lighting systems, its ergonomics and resistance to factors that can destabilize the operation of LEDs.

At this point, once again, we draw your attention to safety issues – remember to entrust all work related to the pool lighting to professionals.
